Metabolite Identification
Common Name5,12-Naphthacenedione, 10-((4-aminotetrahydro-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-8-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy-
Description5,12-Naphthacenedione, 10-((4-aminotetrahydro-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-8-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy-, also known as 4'-deoxydoxorubicinol or 4-DOL, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracyclines. These are polyketides containing a tetracenequinone ring structure with a sugar attached by glycosidic linkage. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5,12-Naphthacenedione, 10-((4-aminotetrahydro-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-8-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy-. This compound has been identified in human blood as reported by (PMID: 31557052 ). 5,12-naphthacenedione, 10-((4-aminotetrahydro-6-methyl-2h-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-8-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy- is not a naturally occurring metabolite and is only found in those individuals exposed to this compound or its derivatives. Technically 5,12-Naphthacenedione, 10-((4-aminotetrahydro-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-8-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy- is part of the human exposome. The exposome can be defined as the collection of all the exposures of an individual in a lifetime and how those exposures relate to health. An individual's exposure begins before birth and includes insults from environmental and occupational sources.
