Metabolite Identification
Common NameAldobiouronic acid D3
DescriptionAldobiouronic acid D3, also known as aldobiouronate D3, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as o-glucuronides. These are glucuronides in which the aglycone is linked to the carbohydrate unit through an O-glycosidic bond. Aldobiouronic acid D3 has been detected, but not quantified in, breakfast cereal and cereals and cereal products. This could make aldobiouronic acid D3 a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Aldobiouronic acid D3.
