| Description | Cyanidin 3-(6''-(E)-p-coumarylsambubioside) 5-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid 3-o-p-coumaroyl glycosides. These are flavonoid 3-O-glycosides where the carbohydrate moiety is esterified with a p-coumaric acid. P-coumaric acid is an organic derivative of cinnamic acid, that carries a hydroxyl group at the 4-position of the benzene ring. Cyanidin 3-(6''-(E)-p-coumarylsambubioside) 5-glucoside has been detected, but not quantified in, several different foods, such as red tea, black tea, green tea, alcoholic beverages, and fruits. This could make cyanidin 3-(6''-(e)-p-coumarylsambubioside) 5-glucoside a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Cyanidin 3-(6''-(E)-p-coumarylsambubioside) 5-glucoside. |
