These are carbohydrates made up of 3 to 10 monosaccharide units linked to each other through glycosidic bonds (+)-Pinoresinol 4-O-[beta-D-Glucopyranosyl-(1->2)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside] has been detected, but not quantified in, breakfast cereal and cereals and cereal products. This could make (+)-pinoresinol 4-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1->2)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside] a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods.
