It has a long duration of action due to its active metabolites. noracymethadol is a metabolite of levomethadyl acetate. Levacetylmethadol, levomethadyl acetate (USAN), Orlaam (trade name) or levo-α-acetylmethadol (LAAM) is a synthetic opioid similar in structure to methadone.
