These are acyl CoAs where the group acylated to the coenzyme A moiety is a very long aliphatic chain of 22 carbon atoms or more. Thus, (2E,4Z)-deca-2,4-dienoyl-CoA is considered to be a fatty ester lipid molecule (2E,4Z)-deca-2,4-dienoyl-CoA is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
