These are monosaccharides in which the sugar unit is a hexose. gamma-Cyclodextrin exists in all living organisms, ranging from bacteria to humans. gamma-Cyclodextrin is an odorless and tasteless compound. gamma-Cyclodextrin is used as a stabiliser, emulsifier, carrier and formulation aid.
