Metabolite Identification
Common NameKaempferol 3-sophoroside 7-(2-feruloylglucoside)
DescriptionKaempferol 3-sophoroside 7-(2-feruloylglucoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Kaempferol 3-sophoroside 7-(2-feruloylglucoside) has been detected, but not quantified in, several different foods, such as garden onion (var.), garden onions (Allium cepa), red onion, onion-family vegetables, and welsh onions (Allium fistulosum). This could make kaempferol 3-sophoroside 7-(2-feruloylglucoside) a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-sophoroside 7-(2-feruloylglucoside).
