DescriptionKaempferol 3-(2-feruloylglucoside) 4',7-diglucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Kaempferol 3-(2-feruloylglucoside) 4',7-diglucoside has been detected, but not quantified in, several different foods, such as green onion, garden onion (var.), onion-family vegetables, garden onions (Allium cepa), and red onion. This could make kaempferol 3-(2-feruloylglucoside) 4',7-diglucoside a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-(2-feruloylglucoside) 4',7-diglucoside.
