These are organic compounds containing a sequence of between three and ten alpha-amino acids joined by peptide bonds. Graecunin D has been detected, but not quantified in, fenugreeks (Trigonella foenum-graecum) and herbs and spices. This could make graecunin D a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review a significant number of articles have been published on Graecunin D. |
